The US Forest Service requires permits for all house boats on Shasta Lake and they are available in limited numbers from the USFS. This houseboat has one of these renewable permits that will also transfer to the new owners.  Because of the demand for these permits the estimated value of the permit is approximately $10,500.  The estimated new replacement value of a boat this size and quality has been listed by Chris' Marine Surveyor's Report to be $105,000 and the estimated market value with the permit was listed at $95,000 on 6/15/15.Owner is asking $85,000 OBO   OR   is willing to take smaller RV in trade & cash offer.
