Here we have for sale a genuine piece of maritime history. We never thought we would sell this boat but until our little boy was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy, at 4 years old it is becoming increasing difficult to move him around the boat and we must change to something more suitable. She lies half an hour from Malaga airport and she can stay where she is for approx 5k euro all in.We have been operating a trust which enables us to pay her way and contribute to her upkeep. This allows us to take donations and take people out without being a licensed charter vessel. more photos and videos are available at ST JOOSTLength overall;  11.9 metersBeam 2.4Draft 1.2Motor; 6 cylinder 80hp MAN diesel. fitted 1988, less than 600 hoursConstruction; Heavy oak.Four / five berths.Inside and outside steering  On the SSRFull sun roof panel in wheelhouseThe ‘Joost’ was built in Northern Germany to hunt seals off the coast of Iceland where conditions were harsh and dangerous, After sixty working years, she was professionally converted to a gentleman’s motor sailing yacht in the seventies, and owned for many years by a famous ex Luftwaffe fighter pilot who moved to southern Spain to live out the rest of his years in sunshine and cruise the Mediterranean far and wide.Sadly, in his nineties, the old boy could no longer get on board her, and very reluctantly agreed to sell her to us, on the condition that she be used as often as possible. In the two years we’ve owned her, she has been an absolute joy for ourselves as owner / operators and the hundreds of supporters and contributors who have experienced this charming quirky piece of history. She is due out for antifoul soon, and any inspection / survey is welcome. She is booked for a documentary this month so will not be available for final sale till AugustShe is now out in the boat yard for inspection, pain and anti-foul and new anodesAny questions please contact us   We are in Spain at present and have just bought another vessel more suitable for our son hence the price reduction from £27500 to Asking £25,000
