Skidaddle- Four Everingham 1969This is an exceptionally beautiful boat. I’ve owned it for more than 4 years but in that time have taken it on the water 3 times. I have loved owning this amazing vessel, but I just can’t justify owning it and using it so infrequently. It would be perfect for someone wanting to mainly display it, but also keep it on the water. I have had requests to display it at Everfest, Boaties Reunions, Nostalgia Festivals and more. It really is a significant piece of Australian Ski Boat History. Pictures tell the story. This piece of history is just beautiful! The timber feels beautiful under foot and the smell of the old timber is just something else. It really is a stunning piece of nostalgia. Would look great being towed behind a classic period vehicle! The few times I’ve had the privilege of driving Skidaddle have been incredible. The sound and feel is amazing. It is reliable. Starts and runs as it should, although will need a temp sensor put in (in the process of sourcing one). As it doesn’t get used very often it does take on some water as old timber boats tend to. It has 2 bilge pumps which can be set to run automatically or manually. It also has an irrigation system under the deck to wet the timber before use if desired. It has been displayed at shows more often than it has been used on the water recently so it both shows what a quality craft it is, and that it needs to go to someone who can use it more. Here are some specific details/ points of interest:- One of the last timber Everingham built by Bert Everingham. (has been claimed to be the last but has not been verified)- Originally commissioned by Central Queensland Water Ski Club in 1969- Originally ran a 289 Windsor but was repowered by the club in 1971 with a 302 Windsor for more power, which is the current engine and in excellent condition.- Bondwood planked and Huon Pine ribbed hull.- Known history from 1969. Some early pictures and pictures of restoration available. - Has been kept in excellent order it’s entire life but underwent cosmetic and mechanical refurbishment in the 1990s.- Brand new interior refresh and genuine ’68 Mustang Grant wheel.- Dog clutch.- Current NSW Registration ‘MM5N’ to October 2017. During my ownership I have completely refurbished the seats in black vinyl and white piping. I have also done some timber refurbishment, restoration and maintenance to maintain its visual appeal as well as seaworthiness. Will not disappoint!Don’t let it pass by! These are very hard to find in such condition and don’t come up for sale very often. As such I am happy to help with additional pictures of whatever you need and will help with transport to a freight depot if desired.Am very happy to talk with a serious buyer, but won’t be giving joy rides or entertaining lowballers. Due to the nature of the vessel and proximity to water from where it is stored a price will need to be negotiated with cash in hand before any water test is considered. $15000. Offers close to this will be considered. Not interested in trades unless it is a fibreglass Hammond in similar condition. Thanks for looking!Located Hunter Valley NSW0421 393 208 Bryce
