Ironbrew was built in 2001 just of the Thames in Deptford Creek. Although she was essentially built as a work boat and has been extremely useful as a working platform. At 18' length x 7' Beam x 2' Draft, She has really had the best use as a family boat that can take up to 12 people out. She is deep inside so no chance of falling out, a stable platform and you can run her up the beach, in and around rocks without harm. I have been running her with a 8 hp high thrust Yamaha outboard this has been removed to be serviced and then to be sold separately. An inboard diesel would also work well inside which has all ways been a consideration.
The intention over the winter lay-up was to repaint the boat Weld on a 6" doubler around the waterline as it is quite badly pitted amidships. Replace wooden benches and plywood seats, these cover the tops of the watertight built in buoyancy tanks that make the boat unsinkable(not that I have tried). Then a good clean up including the rope fender and the spray canopy. Once done I was then putting her on the market to sell. I have since had a change of heart and opted to work on something for my future rather than my past.
The Trailer that she is on is not part of the sale but can be bought by arrangement.
I am happy to assist you in any further information you require.
