Avon 3.40 RIB.This boat was manufactured in 2005.Firstly I can't say that it is in superb condition. It was originally used as a tender to a large yacht and was fitted with a steering console. This was removed before I bought it. Where the console was screwed to the deck. the screw holes have been filled.The hull has not been painted. It has some scratches and a few small chips from the gelcoat. None of these is deep or structural.The tubes are in good order, other than two patches. One on the bow has been neatly done. The one on the rear sponson has been done in black and does not look pretty. It is perfectly air tight though.The transom is not cracked or damaged and is very strong.The bunked trailer is made by Snipe. It is in good condition. It has newish wheels and tyres and the wheel bearings are new. It does not have a winch or a jockey wheel. It has its own detachable light board. It tows very well.Nice set of oars and a pump is included.Other than the negative points above, this is a great boat, built by a quality manufacturer. The hypalon tubes have many years of life left in them and the hull will go on forever.You will need to bring some straps to secure the boat before towing away.Viewing welcome.Please note: Cash on collection only, following inspection.
