ABOUT THIS BAVARIA 44-3 OWNERS VERSIONAnn Sofi is a rare 3 cabin Owner's version. We are the third owners and have owned Ann Sofi since 2010. She is currently afloat in Leros marina, Greece. She is registered on SSR and is fully VAT paid. The first impression we had when we viewed her was her sleek lines and then were wowed by the spacious owners accommodation which rivals many much larger boats. We spend many months of the year cruising and the boat is easily handled by two with all controls tailed backed to the cockpit This is a Well maintained owners version with large owner cabin at front (1.8 x 2m superking bed) with hanging space, shelves and lockers with en suite shower room with electric toilet. Two further full double cabins (1.5m wide (King) bed in each) with ample hanging and shelf storage aft. Second heads with shower.Large mahogany table in salon with seating for 8. Galley with double sink, fridge, 2 burner hob with oven, chart table with Raymarine chart plotter, all lights have been converted to low energy LED and the power supply is completely independent of shore power since we fitted the 400w solar panels Autumn 2014. It has truly transformed our sailing and we never have to worry about conserving power when lying in bays. No need to run the engine as we did before to top up battery levels. A 1kw invertor allows use of 220v on anchor "Bavaria promotional blurb - Designed by J & J Designs in collaboration with Bavaria GmbH, the Bavaria 44 is a high-volume modern cruiser with lots of internal space for a large family or group cruising. The GRP hull has Divinycell closed cell foam sandwich above the waterline and in the deck moulding, whilst the underwater parts are solid GRP, kevlar-reinforced around the bow. (Ours is the deep keel version at 1.98 draft with the upgraded 55hp engine)The Bavaria 44 interior is finished in sapele mahogany veneers, over marine ply and composite materials, with lots of solid mahogany trim, giving a very attractive and traditional look. The interior is really spacious, with wider than usual doors to cabins"There is a mainly teak deck (good condition), in mast roller reefing main sail and furling Genoa. Selden mast and Elvstrom sails in good condition (2010). Full compliment of mooring ropes, warps, fenders etc. Boat hook. All controls are tailed back to the cockpit. Included is a dinghy with 5hp Yamaha Malta 2 stroke outboard.Spacious cockpit with table with integrated cool box. Cockpit cushions, Bimini canopy and over boom canopy. 12v socket and LED cockpit lights. Stainless framework ready for spray hood is fittedPlenty of accommodation and comfort and set up and fully equipped for cruising. Excellent clean condition and not bare boat chartered although we have had a few guests on board with us.
