Laser Sailboat
Estimated price for orientation: 255 $
Category: Sailboats Under 20 feet
Class:
Description Condition: Used Year: 1978 Make: Laser
Selling my Laser sailboat. This is a great recreational boat, as it is is not class legal for sailing since the sail is an aftermarket for recreational use. All parts included: hull, mast (2 pieces), boom, center board, rudder, tiller and all lines needed to sail. I am the second owner after buying this boat on ebay from a doctor in CT back in the late '90s. I used this boat for many years on a lake in the Poconos. I never sailed in salt water. I haven't sailed it in a few years and just sold our place in the Poconos so my Laser sailing days are probably behind me. It sailed great and I had many seasons of enjoyment sailing this boat. The only things wrong with the boat were that it did take on some water (less than a quart after several hours on the water), I think from the center board trunk. That should be remedied with some epoxy. The other is a chip out of the center board that was epoxyed back in place and was never an issue. Neither of these was an issue for recreational sailing. It would benefit from a new hiking strap but what is on it is functional but worn. Certainly not optimal for racing but, if you're looking for a class legal racer, you're probably not looking for a boat almost 40 years old. Boat is being sold as is without any warranty. Buyer to pick up boat, I can not deliver. Good luck and happy sailing!
