HOBIE ONE PROJECT BOATUp for sale is this Hobie One sailboat that has fiberglass damage to the hull and topsides midship starboard. This is a great little performance vessel that offers a fun time for all aboard. With some fiberglass skills this can be back on the water for next boating season.HULL: Aside from the obvious damage the hull is in good condition with the normal scrapes and dings that would be expected on a hull of this vintage. The topsides received impact damage in a storm that fractured the deck area and caused a crack in the hull side midship starboard. The rub rail is bent and appears to be holding the damaged area in its position which when removed should allow the fiberglass to relax to its original form for easier repair. All the deck tackle and hardware is still in place and in good working order. The swing keel and rudder are also in place and in good working condition. The bottom has anti fouling paint. RIGGING: The mainsail is in good condition and was in use last season with no issues. There is a jib on a roller furling that is also in good condition and ready for reinstallation and use. The mast and boom are in good condition with minor signs of corrosion. The stays are in place and appear to be in serviceable condition. LEGAL STUFF: I have not willingly omitted any information on the condition or status of the above vessel or trailer. If you are an interested buyer and unsure of the true condition I suggest you come inspect yourself or hire a surveyor to represent you with an inspection. The boat is sold with a Notorized Bill of Sale (No Title as it came from a non registration satate for small sailing vessels.).
