Built by Harry Hutchinson at Oxford, PA, she is made of steel and weighs in at eleven tons, making her very stable on the water. The hull has a soft chine, meaning there are no hard seams along her side. She has been in our possession since 1995 and has been kept mostly in Florida, namely Jacksonville, Carrabelle, and now St. Marks. This auction is simply about the transfer of title. If you need the boat delivered somewhere you will have to arrange it afterwards. She has no leaks. The engine runs and just recently had its fuel tank cleaned out. However, she will need some work before she can be considered sea-worthy. She needs a new compass. The GPS is old and has a sunburnt screen. The radar refuses to turn on. The sheets and halyards were new in 1996 and are probably due for a replacement. The steering creaks a bit when pushed to the extreme in either direction. The water system is pressurized by a 12 volt electric pump which works but the water tanks and lines need cleaning since they haven't been used in a few years. A lower safety line on the port side needs replacement.Specifications...The Main has 3 sets of reefing points. All sails come with bags as well as a cover for the main sail.Four Barlow winches for use with jib & stay sail sheets.
