Sailing Yacht - 37 Foot GRPYacht name: Bula in Fiji means welcome and that's the name of this yacht. Strangely enough later I was also told the name Bula means little fat girl in Greek so take your pick both I think are quite sweet names for her.Currently on the hard in the marina till mid December getting her bottom cleaned anti fouled, new anodes, and sea cocks all checked and serviced marina fees then paid till April 2017.So she is practically ready to sail away once she nice back in the water. Selling due to work commitments in other countries so sadly not getting the use out of her I would like.Marina fees are paid up until end of March I believe and you can take on the berth after at the marinas standard feees if you wanted to approx 3000 per annum which includes water and electric 3 months hard standing per year.Flag: British SSRYear: 1984Beam 12ftDraft: 170cm Net Tonnage: 10Gross Tonnage: 11Vessel Weight: 6500 kgYOM 1984 - 1988Fin Keel Keg hung rudderLocation: Corfu (Ionian / Greece)A sturdy well equipped and proven sea going yacht, benefiting from any refits and modifications. Reluctantly for sale due to work commitments will be very sad to see her go, but hopefully I'm on to new sailing adventures. She has been an excellent boat for me, has kept my interests, I have had some fantastic holidays on her, learnt lots met some amazing people and am just moving onto my next sailing adventure. I purchased her at the end of 2013 and put her into a local boat yard to get some work done on her i spent around £6k on her... at the time i also got a boat survey done which i can forward onto an interested buyer.During my ownership of her: I had the following professionally installed: Black water tankChlorifier - hot water tankShowerNew sun cover - does require a new bimini - but could be sewn up to last another few seasons if required.Yearly engine maintenance New injectorssome new mooring linesNew sponge for aft cabin and panelled out (could be improved but useable as is)Bottom cleaned sanded back and anti fouled. The following is the work that had been carried out before I purchased her: ( i don't have exact dates for the work)Refit: Including engine, gearbox, electronics, wiring, upholstery, fridge, Oven, hull repainted in Awgrip and much moreAnd the specs i received when i purchased her is below (which is all still working or serviceable): Cutter RigAutohelmWatermaker Solar panels Sat NavRadar - BasicEpirb - Over 5 years old but still works.. Unsure of the yacht maker - originally believed to be a Bruce Roberts but from some digging around when i have owned her I'm not 100% sure she is - Surveyor and boat yards feedback is that she is well built.Personal feedback - She sails well, very spacious downstairs, good and sturdy in bad weather as well as light winds has everything onboard to live on without entering a marina, solar power and wind power is amazing on her, stove works well and fridge is great too..Any questions - ask away and ill try and answer to the best of my knowledge.. Location: - Well its the Ionian!! but she could go anywhere, what more can I say.. lovely area.. Loads to see, great sailing, Croatia, Montenegro, Italy all not that far away.. or stick to Greece and see the 100's of islands that Greece has, although.. Corfu has some fantastic spots to get to grips with your sailing and within a day you can be eating in the most idyllic tavernas and swimming in crystal blue sea. - Ive loved every minute of owning her, and that old tale about best days of owning a boat being the day you buy and the day you sell her!!!.. well i think it's all rubbish.. May consider reasonable offers - but please send a message with your contact details.
