1979 Checkmate Racing Boat W/ Trailer Have you ever wanted a toy to play around with on that small lake? Well this Checkmate racing boat might be the right boat for you. It comes on a trailer that is in good shape. It has a 115hp Mercury outboard motor and although it has not been run in 2 years the donor says it should only need a tune up. We did not test it but we did turn the motor by hand so it is not seized up. The fiberglass on the outside is nicely painted and has a good shine to it. Donor called it excellent condition. The interior is also in good shape. Floor is solid and the seats are simple but clearly recently reupholstered. TERMS OF SALE: Buyer is responsible for transportation as well as shipping costs to deliver this vehicle/boat to its final destination. We expect the nonrefundable deposit to be made within 24 hours of close of auction. The balance is to be paid within 7 days of close of auction. We accept payment by cashier’s check, Pay Pal, bank to bank wire transfers and cash in person (when a Donate Your Boat representative is available to accept cash). DELIVERY TERMS: The Buyer is to pay for and administrate the shipping of the vehicle/boat. It is critical that you are prepared to pick up the vehicle/boat within our stated 7 day period. If vehicle/boat is not picked up or delivered within 30 days of auction end, Donate Your Boat will re-sell the above-mentioned vehicle/boat with no refund being offered to the winning bidder. Titles are held until vehicle/boat has been removed from the property. They will be either mailed to the buyer or presented in person once a vehicle/boat has been removed.
