Up for sale is fantastic 2004 Avon 340 RIB, fitted with a 2004 20hp Honda 4 stroke, electric start, power trim outboard. It is a fantastic package, and only being sold as I've purchased a bigger boat. Starting from the bow the boat is fitted with a forward anchor locker, also providing ample space for the included foot pump. It also doubles up as a safe and comfortable extra seat. The tubes are split into 3 compartments, and are in good condition for the age of the boat, no patches at all, and hold air perfectly. There are also new grab lines fitted on both sides, making it very simple for both adults and children to climb aboard or hold on. The GRP hull is also in superb order, with the original gel and never been anti-fouled. There are two tiny marks on the starboard tube where some glue used to be from the Davits, but will easily clean off if you're a perfectionist (just being perfectly honest, see last picture)The 4 stroke outboard is in good condition, and was serviced at the start of the season. It's only ever been used a handful of times each summer, and garaged the rest of the time. A new isolator has just been fitted, and I'll include a brand new can of genuine touch up paint for if the owner feels so inclined. Previously the boat was used as a yacht tender. The engine has always been flushed after use with fresh water. The hubs used to be non standard, and 2 months ago the axle was removed, new standard sized stubs, hubs and bearings fitted to make life easier. Since then the trailer has been used for a maximum of 10 miles, as the slipway is 2 minutes down the road. The carpet on the bunks has been replaced, and now looks excellent. All in all a very good package, which has never been left on the water or abused. The boat can do just under 30 knots with one person on board, and even with 4 people doesn't use more than half a tank in a days use. Viewings and Sea trials can be arranged for serious buyers, but sea trials will be subject to a £50 payment refundable on purchase. Local delivery is also available, but to be discussed before purchase.Selling on behalf of a friend who has now emigrated, viewings are recommended, and ultimately will be sold as seen.
