For sale my 1978 approx Harborough marine narrow boat .she has a lister SR3 engine and LH150 gearbox that will probably run forever . Selling now as a project due to move to cornwall as the boat is moored at Fenny compton marina near Banbury Oxfordshire and too far away for me to keep travelling.she has a safety certificate until 21 feb 2020 and it is possible to keep the non residential mooring subject to speaking to marina owners, The fees are £177 per month and if accepted the first two months will be free. The boat requires gas and elec work to make it fully liveable but does have a solid fuel Rayburn cooker it also benefits from a washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.There is a rudimentary shower and a pump out toilet. The living room has an Ikea corner sofa that turns into a large double bed with storage but it could do with a good clean as the boat hasn't been used for approx 3 years. The rear deck needs work but the fibreglass sides of the boat have been clad in steel to enable the fitment of decent windows. The boat also comes with extra laminate flooring to complete the floor and 3 extra windows if required and 10 litres of metalic silver paint and five of post box red, boat is currently in primer. This is a no reserve auction with cash on collection please, but i will require a £100 non refundable deposit mainly to pay for my fuel from cornwall if the winning bidder decides not to show.
