28ft Thornycroft 1935 Classic Motor Cruiser, decommissioned with no engine as previously used as an artist studio on the salting's  at West Mersea. Silver Fox is stored presently at West Mersea Marine and can stay there whilst repairs are completed ready for return to the salting's or back to sea. We were going to repair to water tight, then convert the interior to 4 berth with shower room, kitchen and outside dining, then return to the West Mersea salting's and use as an alternative beach hut, but work commitments have meant I'm too busy. Salting's moorings can be obtained for £25 per month, the area has numerous restaurants and pubs with a lovely beach.The photo's show how the boat is now with one showing it in it's former glory. There is also a photo of West Mersea Marine's fees and Nick there is very helpful. Silver Fox is well known in West Mersea and there was a rumour it was one of the Dunkirk little ships, but no confirmation has been found by myself. Once auction is finished, West Mersea Marine would be informed and fees would need to be paid or removal from the marina would need to be organised with yourselves and Nick. I would suggest interested parties to visit the marina and look over the boat to make sure your fully aware of the work needed.
