THE BOAT WAS MADE TO LLOYDS STANDARD BY MEASHAM BOATS AND WAS PROFESSIONALLY FITTED OUT.TO SHOW ALMOST EVERTHING THAT COULD BE PUT ON A CANAL BOAT, SHE WAS FINISHED AND LAUNCHED IN 2005/6, THE HULL WAS MADE IN 2001. I WAS TOLD SHE COST WELL OVER 100K TO BUILD. SHE IS ALL STEEL INCLUDING DOORS WITH EXCELLENT LOCKS. MOST IF NOT ALL OF THE OTHER EXTERIOR FITTINGS ARE STAINLESS STEEL. SHE CURRENTLY HAS A BUILT IN DOUBLE BERTH WITH STORAGE BELOW AND A FOLD OUT SOFABED, SHE HAS A SHOWER ROOM AND SEPERATE TOILET, BOTH WITH WASH BASINS, WITH A LITTLE WORKSPACE AS YOU GO INTO THE INSIDE FROM THE HELMING POSITION. ALTHOUGH THE PAINT IS A BIT DULL A PRESSURE WASH AND POLISH WOULD TRANSFORM THE OUTSIDE. THERE AREN'T ANY GAS APPLIANCES ONBOARD SO SHE IS VERY SAFE AND SHE HAS A SAFETY CERTIFICATE UNTIL DEC 2018. THEN POLISH THE OUTSIDETHE INSIDE NEEDS A GOOD CLEAN AND THERE IS A SMALL HOLE IN PART OF THE LOWER INTERIOR WHICH I WAS GOING TO PUT ANOTHER FIRE EXTINGUISHER OVER IT, BUT YOU COULD JUST REPLACE THE SMALL PANEL. I WOULD REPLACE THE CARPET TILES WITH A WOOD FLOOR AS THIS WOULD TRANSFORM THE INTERIOR. I HAVE THE CURTAINS BUT THEY NEEDS SOME MORE CLIPS, I WAS THINKING OF PUTTING NICE WOODEN BLINDS UP TO FINISH THE MODERN INTERIOR THEME.IT IS OVERDUE A BLACKENING OF THE HULL AND YOU WOULD ALSO REPLACE THE ANODES. THIS WOULD COST ABOUT £950 IF DONE PROFESSIONALLY, BUT MUCH CHEAPER IF YOU DID IT YOURSELFTHE ELECTRICS STOPPED WORKING AND I HAD A MARINE ELECTRICIAN IN AND THE ELECTRIC INVERTER HAS BROKEN, IT CAN BE CHECKED FOR ABOUT £45 AT A BOATYARD NEAR RUGBY AND PROBABLY REPAIRED, OR I WAS QUOTED £1500 TO REPLACE IT WITH A NEW ONE.THE EXTERIOR COVERS HAVE BEEN RECENTLY REPAIRED, BUT I CAUGHT THE BACK COVER AND PUT A COUPLE OF SMALL HOLES IN IT WHICH I HAVE PUT SOME TAPE ON IT. THERE IS A WATER LEAK SOMEWHERE AS COOLANT ENDS UP IN THE BILGES AND IT WILL START TO GET A LITTLE HOT AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR FROM COLD, SO YOU HAVE TO STOP IT, WAIT HALF AN HOUR, TOP UP THE WATER AND SET OFF AGAIN. I HAVE SOME ADDITIVES THAT I WAS GOING TO PUT IN IT, WHICH SHOULD CURE IT. SHE HAS NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO OVERHEAT.

THERE IS A WATER LEAK SOMEWHERE AS COOLANT ENDS UP IN THE BILGES AND IT WILL START TO GET A LITTLE HOT AFTER ABOUT AN HOUR FROM COLD, SO YOU HAVE TO STOP IT, WAIT HALF AN HOUR, TOP UP THE WATER AND SET OFF AGAIN. I HAVE SOME ADDITIVES THAT I WAS GOING TO PUT IN IT, WHICH SHOULD CURE IT. SHE HAS NEVER BEEN ALLOWED TO OVERHEAT.
IF THE ENGINE NEEDED TO BE TAKEN OUT AND REBUILT, I DARE SAY IT WOULD COST ABOUT £2500, BUT THAT I THINK WOULD BE THE WORST CASE SCENARIO. I HAVE GOT A SERVICE KIT FOR THE ENGINE INCLUDING OIL, BUT HAVEN'T GOT ROUND TO DOING IT.SHE REALLY NEEDS A GOOD CHECKING OVER AND TIDYING UP, BUT SHE WILL, WITH A BIT OF WORK, BE A LOVELY BOAT AGAIN THAT WOULD PROBABLY COST WELL IN EXCESS OF £100K IF BUILT FROM NEW, AND I THINK THE WORST CASE COST FOR GETTING HER DONE WILL BE ABOUT 6K, SHE IS IN NORTHAMPTON AT THE MOMENT, BUT COULD, SUBJECT TO AN AGREED PRICE BE DELIVERED TO YOU.
IF YOU WANTED TO KEEP HER NEAR HERE THERE ARE SEVERAL MARINAS CLOSE BY AND IF YOU WANTED TO LIVE ON HER, BILLING MARINA HAS RESIDENTIAL MOORINGS FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE. I WILL BE SAD TO SEE HER GO BUT AN ILLNESS MEANS I WON'T BE ABLE TO GET HER DONE AND USE HER ANYMORE.

On 14-Oct-16 at 07:53:39 BST, seller added the following information: Just a note that the engine is the barrus shire 2202 diesel, not the 2200, and just remembered the zip on the side cover needs restitching although this would still be within the estimated repair cost of the cover and there are some heat marks on the top of the kitchen worktop, but this could be sanded down and re waxed.
