The recent survey value is more than the asking price, however we have reduced this for a quick sale. Offers considered.Beautiful 42' widebeam Bahama Cruiser with recent survey on very friendly mooring in East London.Built in 1972, Evie Sue is an extremely comfortable and solid vessel, built to last with a very thick fiberglass hull, and is also the largest in her class. Weighing in at only 5 tonnes she is easy to cruise and extremely manageable even if navigating or mooring alone. She has a solid, reliable Perkins engine which has been regularly serviced and the hull was recently anti-fouled and surveyed, and is in great condition. Originally built to sleep 8, Evie Sue has had an entire refit over the last 3 years. She has a large, open and light living space with galley, a retractable sun hatch and front well seating area for enjoying a gin and tonic and watching the sun set. A small toilet/shower room and 2 cabins; one set up as a double, the second currently as a child's bedroom although it could be restored to a twin. There is plenty of storage throughout. She has a very generous solar panels/inverter set up giving plenty of power , double glazing and insulation throughout, Smev cooker, and new Electrolux fridge/freezer. She has a large Portway Marine multifuel stove which comfortably keeps the entire boat toasty during colder months. Situated on the Green Flag award-winning Walthamstow Marsh Nature Reserve, one of the few remaining pieces of London’s once widespread river valley grasslands. Clapton is a highly desirable area, boasting a range of facilities including great transport links (12 minutes to Liverpool Street), an ice rink, horse-riding centre, rowing club, The Sunday market on Chatsworth Road, plus loads of refurbed pubs, bars, cafes and restaurants.
