1978 Tangerine
Estimated price for orientation: 100 $
Category: Sailboats Under 20 feet
Class:
Description Condition: Used Year: 1978 Make: Tangerine
1978 Tangerine 18 sailboat and trailer. Boat is sea worthy. It is currently registered and was in the water this season. Just pulled it last weekend. The mast is easy enough to be raised and lowered by one person. All running rigging new this year. Everything is taken off the boat and stored indoors during the winter. The boat is tiny but it is very manageable. Cockpit can hold 4 people, but sailing with 2 is ideal. Cabin has sitting headroom with a V-birth that runs into quarter births under the cockpit seats. No cushions for down below but they can be made very inexpensively and would really make the cabin cozy. I just used it for storage. Trailer is a 1978 rocket tilt trailer. I just replaced all the bunks, new swivel jack, new manual crank winch, replaced nuts and bolts, and painted the trailer. Tires are in good shape with no dry rot. Trailer not registered but I have the previous owners registration. The boat does have current registration under my name.Look up the Tangerine 18 for more details about the boat. It was also built under the name Rinken 18. This boat needs nothing to splash in the water and go sailing. Please keep in mind this is NOT a brand-new boat, but it is absolutely everything you need to go sailing today for less money than a sunfish sailboat!
