It is with great sadness that I post this boat for sale. She’s been an amazing boat for the past 10 years and we’ve had many great adventures and races. She comes with a little bit of a pedigree having sailed me single handed Round Britain back in 2008. Sadly forthcoming children forces the sale. She’s a Hunter Europa, 19 foot, the hull of a squib and an improvement in accommodation on the Hunter 19. She was designed to race across the Channel. My round Britain achievement is shadowed by others who have taken these boats across the Atlantic! She is very sea worthy, I have sailed her in 40 knots in the Irish Sea, and fast, she manage 10 knots average with a high of 18 and sustained surfs of 15!A perfect boat for solo sailing, with your mates/partner or a family. Whether it's for a couple of hours round the harbour or months along the coast. Her easy sailing makes her great for beginners, but performance offers experienced sailors a great sail! The hull is sound, but could do with a lick of paint on top. The interior comes with full cushions and a curtain to split the two sections of the cabin. It is sparse, but a fresh canvas to be customised as you wish. Her rigging is not the standard Hunter Europa rigging. It's a fractional rig and was developed by a champion racer optimised for IRC racing. The sails are in great condition. She comes with a racing main and Jib as well as 3 Symmetric Spinnakers. The sails are good for cruising as well, you just get there a bit quicker! In terms of engines: I have a recently serviced the Yamaha (not Thatsue as previously written) 2.5 hp.A trailer is also available with the boat. She is currently in Cowes and can be viewed there, but I can deliver her to any harbour within 20 miles of the Solent.Update - There's been a good interest. If not gone by end of this listing I will have another open session this Friday/Saturday, however please let me know you're coming.Just to answer some common questions:- The 4 stroke 2.5 hp Yamaha is included.- The trailer is included in the sale, however I have contacts to people interested in buying just the trailer so happy to negotiate it out- I have added a picture of the interior. As I said; she sails fine and is structurally very sound, she just needs a lick of paint.Update -Mooring fees are up for renewal at the end of the months so will take £1000 (no offers on this rock bottom price)If not sold by 1st November then will keep her.
