Welcome to our auction. This is for our 2003 63ft Liverpool/New boat Co "kingfisher" Semi Traditional narrowboat named "Perrys Luck". The name came from something that my Grandad and dad used to say, pure and simple. We bought the boat in the beginning of 2014, the boat needed a fair bit of work doing before we could move in and live on as a live aboard so we had her lifted out where we work at Star Line Boats in Nuneaton Warwichshire. The hull was cleaned back, 5 coats of bitumen and 8 new anodes, 4 down each side. Along with this we totally changed the colour from a red to what you see now in the pictures (oxford blue and slate grey).Fitted out by G Harrison. The inside weve painted, weve redone the bathroom, decorated the master bedroom and ive build bunkbeds in the rear for the second bedroom for the kids. Its fitted with a 50HP Barrus 1952LG (Shire) diesel marine engine (with booklets) and a PRM 150 gearbox. Twin alternator. Sadly hrs unknown as the digital display is not work. Engine was serviced just over a year ago but I will give it another service. Its fitted with 4 Domestic 110amp batterys and 1 110amp start battery (All 5 replaced less than 2 years ago).Ive fitted a Sterling 2500 combi inverter which is a fantastic bit of kit, keeps batterys charged while on landline. Its fitted with a solid fuel stove (Brunel Stovax) with back boiler (fitted brandnew 3 years ago with flue £1400). The Stove feed 2 Radiators, one in the livingroom/gally and one in the bedroom. The stove also heats up running water. It has upfront a large 240 mains calorifier, again for running water and central heating (radiators). 12V lights and water pumps.Propane gas free standing cooker with grill, oven and 4 rings, its an old cooker but passed its boat safety, the saying if its not broken don't fix it. The kitchen is very dated, ideally the kitchen wants updating but its all fully functional as it is.The layout from front to back:- large living area/gally with stove in the corner of front bulkhead, kichen with side doors, walk through bathroom with sink, cassette toilet, 3/4 bath with mixer taps for shower, master bedroom with full size double understorage bed, rear bedroom fitted with bunkbeds.Inverter and 12v fuses are in the back bedroom in a corner cupboard, vented and kept out the way. Very large integral water tank. (NO PUMP OUT TANK) Sign writing (boat name) are vinyl, not painted, these can be removed. The boat does need to odd bit of DIY TLC, both inside and out to make your own. ideally the engine bay needs painting, roof could do with being painted again but on a nice dry day I will get this done. Weve decided to sell as the kids are now getting older and need more privacy. We will be very sad to see her go but priorities come first as much as weve enjoyed it. The boat will be sold with its mooring here at Star Line Boats Nuneaton Warwickshire if buyer wishes, no mooring licence to pay to Canal and River Trust. Can be view by appointment only due to work commitments. BOAT SAFTEY till mid 2020If you have any question or would like to know any more information please feel free to contact me on 07415237016. NO TIME SHARES OR RENTAL AGREEMENTS, THIS IS A PRIVATE SALE ONLY.Thanks in advance and kind regards, Alan
