Capable,"go anywhere", moderate draft of 4ft6", vessel. My wife and I have owned "Kiddet" for 29 years, having sailed round UK, Outer Hebrides, down to Biscay. She is nicely balanced on the helm, and can be easily sailed single-handed.Stainless Steel rigging, with an additional removable inner forestay. Mainsail is Mk2 diamention, sheeting to the after quarters. Furling and reefing is around the boom. Padded foot to prevent boom droop, and a blue sacrificial strip on the leech. Blue sail cover.Foresail is 120%. Set on Furlex foil and drum. Padded luff to flatten sail when reefed. Blue sacrificial strip on the leech.Hanked-on Storm Jib.150% hanked-on Genoa. (Which I used when running down wind)Small spinnaker, (barely used!)Telescopic pole, and wooden bearing-out pole.Three anchors, 7.5 kg Bruce, 25lb CQR, 20lb CQR. 85ft chain, plus 50mts nylon warp.Ample compliment of warps and fenders.Three cockpit lockers. Manual bilge pump.Tiller steering, transom-hung rudder. Cockpit table.Accomodation. Two forecabin berths, 3/4 in saloon, ie. Single to port, pilot berth to std. single converting to double std side. All berths have leecloths.Engine, Volvo MD7b. Rebuilt new rings/bearings etc 2005.
