Description
Type: Cruiser (Power) Beam (Feet): 6ft 6ins
Length (Feet): 17ft Trailer: Not Included

A rare opportunity to restore an early 1950's or 60's slipper launch style day boat. This was probably used with a very small Stuart Turner engine and would have been most attractive and eye catching in its day. There is room to fit a small outboard on the transom but you may want to consider fitting an inboard electric motor and be really green. The hull is solid but will require minor work and re-painting.Minor damage has been done to the top corner of the cabin roof but the GRP section of fibreglass is there to be tidied up and refixed to the boat.Basically it is a bare shell as someone has taken out all the timber work.It has a long keel and 2 shallow bilge keels for drying out on the mud.The front screen area would have been a simple hinged top hung opening window. The foredeck looks quite nice with its sunken design and it looks most unusual with its straight bow entry and with the counter stern appearance to the rear of the cockpit. The bow area has a raised sheerline which adds to the overall design appearance. There is some concrete ballast underneath the front bunk area and we would be happy to remove this to reduce the towing weight.NO ENGINE, NO STEERING, NO TRAILER.Assistance with lifting on to your trailer is available. This boat is well worth viewing so please contact me.  PE15Please see other items being listed.
