When I bought her she wasn't set up for cruising and I have installed all the things one needs to live off grid. Shes a Good size for finding a mooring on the tow path and easy to turn anywhere on the canal.Big water tank under the floor. lasts me about 3-4 weeks.
2 x 200w solar panels with solar charge controller. (This means I don't have to run the engine to keep the batts charged, as a cruiser i'm using the boat often enough to give more charge from the alternator anyway)Brand new set of Trojan batteries x 4Pure sine wave german made 700watt inverter. (pure sine wave is safe for electrical equipment like lap tops)12v sockets for charging phones.12v and 240v lightingGas Boiler for instant hot waterRadiators supplied by water jacket on the Wood burner.Had her out for blacking this summer and the hull is in top condition. Freshly panted with 2 coats of Bitumen so won't need out of water for another 2-4 years.4 New sacrificial anodes attached at the time of blacking. She's quite open plan, front doors open to the kitchen (gas cooker, fridge, sink, wood worktops) which is open to the living room (coal/wood burner) with a bar dividing the 2.then the double bedroom, shower room and cupboards with immersion heater. Back doors to large back deck. excellent for hanging out on.Front deck is nice and big for deck chair and garden.Furniture is not fitted like on many boats, its just normal furniture. which i think is rather nice.New thick celotex insulation in Roof, walls and a bathroom.Shower is above a massive butlers sink that can be used as a little bath!I often have passers by tell me they love her! so maybe you will too!
