This is an auction for my Microplus 17 foot fishing boat with cuddy. The boat was built in about the 1960's and its a GRP boat, solidly made and built to last. I bought it after the previous owner made some bad alterations to it and I bought it as a project but never really finished it. However it is all sea worthy and I've taken it out many times. The only changes needed are cosmetic. The boat comes with cusions for the cuddy which could probably do with recovering and a new hatch which I made and fibre glassed but haven't got round to painting yet, the original one was lost in transit. It also comes with various accessories needed to get you on the water such as an anchor, fuel tank, battery, ropes, straps, life jackets, fish finderYou can see from the photos that I've repaired the roof of the cuddy to increase the strength and durability but again not got round to painting it or finishing it off yet.The engine is a 1980s Mariner (Yamaha) 55 hp outboard. It runs really well and I've spent a lot of time and money getting it services and tuned. Its had a new starter motor, new plugs, new oils seals, complete strip down and re-build, cylinders honed at the same time, carbs sonically cleaned and then balanced. It runs well and I've linked a few videos below to prove it. Its electric start and all connected to the teleflex sterring system.The trailer is sound and I've just installed new axels, wheels and tyres. It had a new jockey wheel last year. It could do with a wash and clean, and depending on how fussy you are a lick of paint, however as already stated, its ready for the water and i've had lots of fun on this boat but just don't get the use any more (and the wife wants the drive back). Lighting board is included and its all ready to tow away.Collection only from Hurst Green, East Sussex and payment will be required at the end of the auction.
