Selling 17ft Fletcher Speed Boat on Trailer.The boat is in good condition for its age with only a few areas to address before it will be ready to get back on the water.Please see below for a detailed breakdown of each aspect of the boat.TrailerThe trailer is in good condition however requires for the port side wheel arch to be reattached. A set of new wheel arches are included in the purchase of this boat.EngineThe outboard is a 50HP Mercury Force. Recently I have fitted a new water pump impeller and have changed the lower unit gearbox lub oil.A new battery is also included with new cables and terminals to safeguard against any corrosion that may have occurred in the past. This allows for a strong first start with no insulation faults. The starter motor has also received a thorough clean and is performing like new.It must be noted that, due to the age of the boat, there is a small amount of exhaust leakage into the upper casing that prevents the engine running with the cover in place. This is a relatively cheap fix which would require a new seal between the upper casing and the power head.The remote throttle and idle is also freely moving. The cover for the throttle needs to be reattached.The Outboard Trim Motor has also been cleaned out and has had new hydraulic fluid added providing a strong lift.Please see link for video of engine running in idle and trim/tilt motor functionality: The body has also been recently refurbished with new paint around the red section of the hull. There is no significant degradation to the hull or rubber trim.The interior is also in good condition with new carpets.
