For sale is " Carabella of Wight " a Cheveton Caravel MkIII a classic British Folkboat designed by David Cheverton built at Cowes Isle of Wight in 1965 and constructed with mahogany strip plank hull on mahogany frames plywood decks with a delightful sheer a steeply raked transom from which is hung a substantial rudder and cast iron long keel all built under Lloyds supervision, making her a fine example of a comfortable easily-handled seagoing yacht and capable of offshore passages in all weathers but also because of her shallow draft would make an ideal cruiser for beginners to potter around the east coast with. "Carabella's" present owner is a retired shipwright and has restored  her to an excellent condition but due to health problems has asked me to help sell her for him.   L.O.A.   24' 6"   L.W.L.  19' 0"   Beam   8' 0"   Draft   3' 8" Benefits from a recent installation of a Beta twin diesel engine.
