Much loved Hurley 22 up for sale as I have a bought a bigger boat and can't afford to keep the two of them. The boat comes with a four-wheeled braked road trailer, which can be used for launching and recovery from the water and if the brakes were connected up could be road legal and towed anywhere. You would need at least a transit van or landrover type vehicle to tow as the combined weight must be around 3 tons. The trailer is old but both axles were replaced and one complete spar and numerous patches of steel welded on. It has had a bit painting to tidy it up recently. Two new cockpit locker lids just made. The boat comes with extras such as a A-frame which can enable one person to raise and lower the mast themselves. There is custom made boat legs, solar panel and Tiller tamer for temporary automatic steering. The boat comes with a Mariner 8hp two stroke engine which is old but runs well and has had very little hours as I used to sail on to my mooring until my club banned from doing that.Equipment Included in Sale:Four wheeled Braked Trailer with Arms so can be used as a Launching and Recovery trailer saving money on Crane-age.Mariner 8HP two stroke engine.Sail set of Big Genoa,Main and SpinnakerStanding Rigging and Bottle screws renewed professionally 4 years ago.Rudder bush renewed 2 years ago with non corroding replacement. Sea Cocks and sink cock replaced with non corroding replacement. Danforth Anchor and 30 meters of 8mm chain. Two large lazarette lockers and huge stern lockerArial and cable replaced 4 years ago.Navigational lights on mast.Manual Bilge pump.Buoy pic up hook and spinnaker pole.Roller reefing handle.Where ever possible all deck/rigging fittings stainless A4 used.Windows renewed 5 years ago.10 year Epoxy paint treatment to hull applied 6 years ago.Life ring ,Flares. One leisure batteries.Ships Compass,Electronic Compass, Depth Finder.Icom M15 Splash-proof VHF Handheld radio with recharging facility on board. USB Charging facilityFluorescent cabin light and two battery operated L.E.D. cabin lightsLarge Chart table and Drawer.Four Berths and good condition upholstery throughout.Space for Toilet.Storage under berths and shelving cubby holes.Extras10 watt Solar panel keeps batteries fully topped up.Brand New Spray hood for Cockpit. One year old Main sail cover.A -Frame custom built means you can raise/lower mast yourself saving money. Cross frame for cradling Lowered mast at stern.Custom made Sea Legs. These boats are probably the best 22 footers with offshore capability Iknow off. I have been in 20ft swell and not a drop of water in the cockpit. They are very easy to sail and forgiving if you make a mistake with a 50% ballast ratio which means it comes up very fast if ever knocked over. Many have been over the Atlantic!!
