Snapdragon 747 (24.6 foot) weekend sailer, Snapdragons were made by Thames Marine in various sizes from 21 foot to 29 Foot, They are regarded as being very strong safe boats in river and at sea. This boat comes with a modern fully battened Mains sail (two years old), plus spare Main, Genoa, plus spare Genoa, Spinnaker and spinnaker pole, Both sails have roller reefing. There is  spray hood and  stern drop down boarding ladder. All upholstery replace two years ago. It can sleep five, two singles in the forward cabin, a double and a single in the saloon, drop down table that makes up the double bed. There is a pressure water system, basin, gas hob/grill (with two gas bottle in the cockpit locker) electric sea toilet. Standard Horizon GX1500 DSC vhf radio. Standard Horizon CP300 7 inch Chartplotter, Echo Pilot forward looking sonar. Radio/CD player, 90AH domestic battery, LED cabin lights. The original engine was a Yanmar YSE 8 hp. This has been replaced with a diesel 20 hp three cylinder Beta Marine engine, gearbox and prop, with its own battery. This engine is very quiet and very smooth with enough power in reserve to make way against a 6 knot tide, the engine will push the boat over it hull speed to 7.5 knots, great for getting you out of trouble! The boat needs a bit of tiding, but comes with deck paint, anti-fouling, wood trims for round the windows inside, curtains, new wash board, manuals for all navigation/ radio equipment, engine and and engine service kit, two almost new life jackets and some sailing books and C charts for the channel and south west, also a inflatable tender is included in the sale. The boat is on the hard at the bottom of Coombe Lane Cargreen Cornall PL12 6PB It is paid up till March 2017 when lift in will be £35. A swinging mooring is available at Cargreen subject to club membership.
