Thanks for looking at my speedboat project.I dont know anything about the origins of the boat , some think it looks like a Fletcher but I cant find any evidence of this.
It was bought for lake fishing but never bothered.The paint job has started blistering. I suspect this could be rubbed back down and repainted but lost interest.The outboard motor has been rebuilt and can be seen running in a barrel if required.
I may split the motor (and relist it as a buy it now) if the price is right.The steering is disconnected, this is a project. It requires a new drivers seat and some general renovation.
The trailer is solid but would benefit from a repaint. The tyres probably need replacing but hold air.
The wheel bearings have been replaced by me and it's not moved out of the garage since.Any questions just ask . The boat is dry stored in Great Barr Birmingham.
