IDEAL LIVEABOARD & GUARANTEED MOORINGHi, and thanks for looking at my ad for this 60ft Narrowboat for sale on behalf of the owner. Phoenix was built in 1999 by the renowned Mike Heywood / Evans & Sons. If you look around you can see that the asking price of £34,950 is very reasonable for a modern narrowboat in this condition and equipped to this standard with a mooring in this location and the owner will also consider an offer; she is advertised for sale elsewhere. The boat has undergone a very successful and complete re-fit over the last couple of years and the exterior and interior are in very good condition; the interior is essentially new with no wear and tear. Come and have a look around her, she is a great boat with some great features, fantastic equipment and a bright and light interior. You will not be disappointed. The mooring is fully transferable to the new owner and is in an ideal location in Egham / Old Windsor on the River Thames. The town centre is only a short walk away and has a full range of banks, shops, launderette, pubs and restaurants. It also boasts a mainline station running into London Waterloo including stops at Clapham Junction. The boatyard is small and friendly and everyone is welcome and the boat can be viewed there.Phoenix has a great internal layout with a small utility area at the back (aft) leading to the bathroom which is positioned to port off a corridor. From this point forward the boat is semi-open plan with half height bulkheads separating each section. The bedroom is after the bathroom on the port side and the dinette and galley sections are fitted to starboard with the saloon at the forward (bow) end of the cabin. Due to the clever design each section feels separate yet the whole boat feels so spacious.
The lining is a very attractive mix of fresh vertical tongue and groove fitted below the gunwhales with cream painted panels above and to the ceiling. These painted panels have been trimmed with light hardwood, probably ash / oak and this gives a very pleasing modern look whilst still retaining warmth. The aft end of the cabin has portholes with custom made covers whilst forward of the bedroom, Phoenix is fitted with large picture windows, each with modern matching pull down blinds.Built in 1999 by Mike Heywood / Evans & Sons
