We are selling our power boat as we are moving to sail.Bought the boat in 2011 to do up and use as a boat for a group of friends to dive from but now dive mostly from the shore or abroad, so have less use for a boat as a dive platform. We are now working on a new project to buy and do up a sail boat to take abroad and use as a base for diving, hence the sale.In the last two years we have covered our berthing fees by renting out on the boat on Airbnb (accommodation only - not charter), and we would be willing to hand over the airbnb account as a gesture of goodwill for any buyer of the boat, if they wish to rent the boat out too. Needs anti fouling this year, new props, new rudders and stern glands but a solid boat and engines are good runners which you would expect from 270hp Crusaders.Comes with:
2 x vhf radios fitted, Hummingbird GPS chart plotter and side scan sonar with through hull fitted transponder (retailed £1800)CQR anchor with approx 30m chain22 inch LED TVMicrowaveDomestic sized fridge (240v)Kettle, toaster and 2 ring induction hob (gas not fitted)crockery and cutlery for 5+ people4 x foldaway chairs and a table for out on deck1 x inflatable canoeOil filled portable radiatorCover and frame for fly bridge and aft deckShe has a double v berth and a large single and double berth in the saloon that convert from the fixed seating. The table is hydraulically operated and easy to drop down and raise when making up the beds.
We have also slept on the fly bridge too as there is a large cushioned bench seat up there and it is all covered in. We have slept up there in February when working in the saloon and it is warm enough even in the winter, but the sunlight wakes you up early in the summer.Storage is available under all of the seating and under the v berth.3 x batteries, one port, one stbd and one domestic with a trickle charger to keep the batteries topped up when on shore power.Since buying her in 2011 we have totally gutted her and re-built the interior, added hardwood bi-fold doors out onto the deck, replaced the port gearbox, replaced the exhaust manifolds, replaced coils, leads, plugs and alternator. Have also fitted a new sky light in the v berth which has a blackout and insect net blinds. We also panelled out the v berth and insulated behind it so it is warmer and comfortable all year round. She is ready to go and can earn her keep from day one as a popular airbnb rental, allowing you to have fee free boating.Check out this video when we took her to sea to do some diving with a local dive charter company https://youtu.be/Il4nrZfYslo Currently based in Brixham so could transfer berthing if you wanted to stay there as we find that is a big plus for the airbnb customers that we have had, but there are many other local options that would probably be as big a draw.Check out https://www.airbnb.co.uk/rooms/4084497 for our airbnb listing and reviews which we would transfer as part of the sale of the boat if required. You will see from the reviews that she is popular and well liked and we have had repeat visitors.
