A unique 19ft Vintage Day launch built 1930 of Burmese Teak on Oak frame. A unique opportunity to purchase a real vintage boat of class. "Tahiti" was built as a one off a retirement present of an Ex-Governor of Tahiti in Gosport, Hants 1930. She is carvel planked with original copper fastenings and is in beautiful condition. Perfect for a day's cruising on the river. She has a small cabin space and forward compartment for a head (fitted with twin bronze seacocks). Dimensions - 19ft in length, 6 ft beam 1 ft 6" draft. Fitted out beautifully with vintage features and in fantastic condition. She was recently completely re-caulked below the waterline and varnished all round. Also been rewired and new DC fuse panel, battery and battery switch. Fitted with a vintage Stuart Turner petrol P55ME inboard engine with electric start – all in good working order – had little use since an overhaul by previous owner. Boat Safety Certificate (BSS) till 2020 - had full out of water survey by qualified marine surveyor June 2014 for insurance & valuation - Full report available upon request. She is a truly beautiful launch full of character and class. Currently lying in Wroxham, Norfolk. She is in the water but can be slipped for transport. Price INCLUDES twin axle Parrymoore galvanised trailer - boat shown on trailer in the photos if the full asking price is accepted.
