We are selling our much beloved FLOMBI as we don’t have time to use her anymore. She is kitted out and ready to hit the water this summer and comes with everything needed for day trips or weekends away. She can sleep two adults and a couple of children comfortably and has a pop top roof that gives 6 foot head room inside Boat and trailer currently registered in NSW (Trailer September 2016 and Boat October 2016) Included in the sale is all safety equipment, 5 x standard life jackets and 2x inflatable lifejackets all off shore rated (pfd100 or pfd150)FlaresFire ExtinguisherV SheetBail & BucketHornNavigation lights and mast head light (all LED’s)TorchCompassDepth reader/fish finderAnd Uniden handheld VRF Marine Radio (never used)Sails include main, No.1 and No.2 head sails, storm jib and spinnaker. All are in good condition The Sonata has a swing keel that allows for beach landing or shallow anchoring, which is easy with the No.2 ‘Sarca’ anchor, 5m chain and 50m rope. Also included is a porta potty, extra rope, mooring fenders, boat hook and other useful bit and bobs. FLOBI was completely restored in 2014 which involved a complete clean and polish, timber sanded and revarnished, repainting inside, new marine carpet in cabin, new interior lights and wiring throughout. Steel trailer was completely rebuilt with new hubs, brakes, tyres, wheels and bearings, rust proofed and painted. The only thing yet to do was to cover the foam interior cushions. She also comes with a 6hp 2 stroke Johnson outboard and fuel tank for when the winds not blowing. Very reliable, regularly serviced, never had a problem with this old girl. Very tidy boat for its age, mainly fresh water use was a Canberra Yacht Club Registered Racer before we got her. We have had lots of fun but now it’s time for someone else to enjoy her.
