This fine example of a classic British registered wooden ketch is one of only 40 ever built, currently lying in southern Spain's bay of Cadiz. She can easily be reached by air from Jerez, Seville, Gibraltar or even Malaga airports and is ideally placed to sail to the Mediterranean, North Africa, the Canaries, Madeira, Portugal or even to cross the Atlantic. She benefits from a centre cockpit with all navigation instruments etc. on hand and provides shelter to the helmsman should the need arise.   She is perfect for live-aboard and her design has proved a success in her excellent seaworthiness, stability, comfort and performance. She is ready to go anywhere and comes completely fully loaded right down to the tin opener, she even has an electric sewing machine.    Everything you need is on board and what you see on the photos is what you get including two bikes. Sleeping bags, duvets, blankets cutlery, utensils etc. etc. are also included together with relevant safety gear for two persons.  It is planned to have the hull anti-fouled in February/March 2017 and any poor anodes replaced as required.   Additionally there is a 2.7 mtr inflatable dinghy (5 man) and a 6hp Yamaha outboard engine, a portable Honda generator, a wind generator, solar panel, regulator and an automatic charger for when connected to shore side power.  All batteries were replaced in 2014.   Regrettably my health prevents me from following our dream anymore and sadly she must be sold.  She has a berth in a beautiful sheltered marina which is only 5mins. walk from the town centre with its countless Tapas bars and restaurants.   Being old Spain this is where the Spanish go on holiday and is nothing like the Costa's.   Construction;.    Hull of Iroko fully cascovered on Oak beams and frames.  Upper deck also cascovered on marine ply.  Internal woodwork teak, pine varnished or painted.   Machinery;    Perkins 4 cylinder, 56 hp diesel inboard engine.  Approx 100 gallon diesel tank, two black water holding tanks, two fresh water tanks      (sufficient water for approx 10days), Wind Generator and solar panel with regulator, Smart charger, Power anchor windlass.   Spars/Rigging;   Wooden spars with stainless steel standing rigging.  Furling Genoa system (new 2013) two Barton two speed main sheet winches, Single speed Barton winch on each spar, Lewmar 24 winch for genoa furling, Lazy jacks for main sail which is also slab reefed, mizzen sail may be roller or slab reefed.  Spinnaker boom, New Sail covers in 2016, Binamy cover, new cockpit/wheelhouse cover 2014, rear mounted davits for the inflatable dingy.   Sails;   Mainsail, Mizzen sail, Genoa (with new sacrificial strip fitted 2014) Spinnaker sail (never used by current owner) Mizzen staysail, Storm jib and No1 jib all in excellent condition.  Many halyards and sheets have been replaced within the past 12 months.   Accommodation;   Double in aft cabin (Storage or water blister under) with heads, wash basin and small wardrobe, two singles in fore cabin with storage under, two singles in saloon with storage under, central folding table, Heads and wash basin off saloon.   Domestic;   Taylors gas oven and grill, (2 rings and grill) gimbled fixing, Taylors diesel heater (saloon) 12 volt fridge, gas heater in aft cabin.  Wired 12volt dc/240volt throughout with uk 13amp sockets as necessary.   Navigation;    Raymarine color radar/chart plotter with c-map slots (local charts included) Navtex, Depth sounder, Gps, DSC vhf Radio, AIS Radar, Auto-   helm and hand held wind anemometer, Overhead compuss, Gps steering aid.   Auxilary;    Five man inflatable dinghy (suspends on rear davits) 6hp outboard engine, Rear swim platform and ladder, Hot and cold shower facilities on the stern, Honda portable generator, Sea anchor, Solar shower attachment, All new mooring ropes, Emergency Portable VHF Radio and GPS receiver, flare pack (deep sea pack), CQR anchor with approx. 75mtrs of chain and a further 50mtrs of rope spliced to it, Kedge anchor, fenders, fender step, spare gas cylinder, sewing machine, space heater, numerous spare parts – shackles - ropes - sheets - navigation books, navigation instruments, some tools etc etc.   Further information:  Contact the seller via email:      Viewing can be arranged locally with a Spanish/English speaking guide. Air fares may be refunded if a sale is completed subject to negotiation and final sale price.    This is a relisting of an incredible vessel after countless tyre kicking by time wasters.  She offers incredible value for money to any potential buyer and is ready to sail away
