For sad sale is my lovely narrowboat home 'Pendle Hill' as I am looking for something longer. I bought her last year as a project shell and have loved life aboard. She was built by Coles Morton, Whaley Bridge around 1986. A respectable boat builder of the time. The hull has been re-plated, offering peace of mind and was blacked about three years ago.Powered by a Barrus 1200 engine, around 12 years old with just 400 hours, most of which I have done myself trouble free. Oil changed in the summer and antifreeze just flushed and changed. Stern gland just repacked. New thermostat and housing. Spare alternator. The boat has a desirable reverse layout, entering from the stern into the kitchen, to dining area, shower room and then living space. Generous bow space.Double gas lockers to stern.12v and 240v electric (new RCD unit).Morso squirrel multi fuel stove with back boiler to a radiator in the kitchen.240v fridge and gas oven and cooker in the kitchen. Instant hot water from a gas boiler.Cassette toilet.Front and back cratch covers.Would make someone else a superb live aboard or an alternative holiday home. She is moored at Blackwater Meadow Marina, Ellesmere Shropshire, non-residential moorings available. This is a stunning spot on the Llangollen canal for exploring.
