For Auction is a Hartley designed " Sparkle" Trimaran constructed of fibreglass and marine ply. It is situated at beautiful and peaceful Shute Harbour near the Hamilton Island terminal. At high tide it floats and at low tide it sits on the beach. There are all the amenities 15minutes away at Airlie Beach and Cannonvale. Toilets and water are available nearby at public ablutions block. I lived here for 6 months last year and really enjoyed myself. Mooring in this spot is free so free accommodation if you live on the boat. The interior of the boat needs a good clean up and a paint and would be very liveable. It has a foreward cabin with sleeping for 2. Next is a cubicle for a toilet. The main cabin has a bench on the starboard side which could be a bunk or seating. On the port side is the galley with a sink and 2 seats and a table. The boat needs work if you are going to sail it. I have done a lot of work already but the bow needs a sheet of ply below the gunnel replaced on the starboard and port sides. The main beam between the floats and the main hull needs to replaced by laminating a new one. A temporary  beam has placed next to the old one to hold things in place. The starboard cabin side and front also need to be replaced. There is about $1000 of tools, spare marine parts, paint, glue, generator and timber to help with repairs. There is a mainsail, 2 jibs and 2 spinnickers in good condition in bags on board worth $3000. There is no motor but the shaft and prop are still in place or a an outboard could be mounted on the stern. BASICALLY  IF YOU ENJOY WOODWORKING, YOU  COULD LIVE AND WORK ON THE BOAT AND OPT OUT OF THE RATRACE.
