IF YOU ARE IN THE MARKET FOR AN INCREDIBALLY SAFE AND SEAWORTHY BOAT FOR NOT A LOT OF MONEY, CHECK OUT MY BOAT. THIS IS A CLASSIC MAKO THAT IS AS SOLID AS THE DAY IT WAS MADE. I HAVE ALWAYS HAD CENTER CONSOLE BOATS AND THEY NEVER HAD ENOUGH SEATING AND COMFORT FOR PASSENGERS. THIS BOAT CAN DO IT ALL. RIGGED FOR FISHING WITH RODHOLDERS AND A LIVE WELL, PLENTY OF SEATING IN THE BOW AND STERN, AND A CUSTOM DIVE PLATFORM AND LADDER ON THE TRANSOM. BEFORE I BOUGHT IT THIS BOAT HAD BEEN WINTERIZED AND IN STORAGE FOR SEVERAL YEARS. I HAD A NEW GAS TANK PROFESSIONALLY BUILT HERE IN SOUTH FLORIDA AND THE ENGINE AND HYDRAULIC SYSTEMS WERE ALL SERVICED LOCALLY BY AN OUTBOARD SPECIALIST. ALL THE CYLINDERS WERE SCOPED FOR WEAR AND FOUND TO BE PERFECT. COMPRESSION WAS EVEN IN ALL 6 CYLINDERS AND AROUND 130. I REMOVED THE WRAP AROUND WINDSHIELD WHICH FRANKLY GAVE THE BOAT A DATED LOOK, BUT MORE IMPORTANT IT ELIMINATES THE HAZARD OF GETTING POKED IN THE RIBCAGE BY THE CORNER OF THE WINDSHIELD WALKING FORWARD IN A ROLLING SEA. I REPLACED IT WITH SMALL INDIVIDUAL WINDSHIELDS ON EACH CONSOLE. ALL THE CUSHIONS WERE NEW AND UNUSED WHEN I TOOK OWNERSHIP AND THEY ARE ALL IN GREAT CONDITION. THERE ARE SOME MINOR COSMETIC FLAWS AROUND THE BOAT. THERE ARE SCREW HOLES THAT ARE FILLED BUT NEED REFINISHING WHERE I REMOVED THE WINDSHIELD, AND SOME NICKS IN THE FIBREGLASS ON THE CONSOLES. THE DECK HAS SOME SILICONE STAINS AND MARKS THAT A MAN MUCH YOUNGER THAN I COULD CRAWL AROUND ON THE DECK AND SCRAPE OFF. THE LIVE WELL PUMP IS NOT WORKING. NOT SURE IF IT IS A FUSE, BAD CONNECTION, OR THE PUMP. I HAVE THE MANUALS FROM BOTH MAKO AND YAHAMA, ALTHOUGH THEY ARE AGED. IF YOU NEED IT, A DUAL AXLE GALVANIZED TRAILER IS AVAILABLE FOR AN ADITIONAL $500. BID WITH CONFIDENCE. I WILL ANSWER ANY AND ALL EMAILS. GOOD LUCK
