Here we have a Canal boat / Narrowboat....The boat was built in Daventry 1979.... it is a "Hancock and Lane" all steel boat..being 47ft long....Registration number 70470It is powered by a BMC Diesel 4 cylinder ..( The engine and gearbox are sorted and ready to re fit )The boat has been out of the water for four years...The boat has had extensive restoration works carried out....New steel upper sections fitted....gunwales upwards ...sections of the sides and gunwales have also been replaced...The new sections have been inset..there is no overplating...The floor has been over plated with 6mm steel plates and seal welded....this was carried out inside the boat and not underneath...The windows are new....all sealed when fitted...including Houdini escape hatch in roofThe engine bay is cleaned and painted ready for the engine re fitting.....( engine comes with fuel tanks which have been refurbished...all pipework etc...)The boat is primered inside..some sections are grey, others are red leaded...Brass Air vents mushrooms have been fitted on the roof....The outside of the boat has been red leaded, the bottom half blacked...one side above gunwales has been painted blue...( paint is with boat to complete other side to match )That's about as far as I have got with the boat.....The quarterly ground rent is due on the first of December which I will be paying....The site is hard standing...it is a private residential marina with facilities....it will be possible for the new owner to continue the work on site....Please look at the pictures....if its what your looking for...viewing is welcome ....( I have lots of pictures during restoration available for new owner )This will be a cash only transaction...
