I am selling my wooden boat which is made out of 100 year old French oak , American rock maple and hoop pine. The hoop pine strips are 25 mm x 8 mm and used for the main hull, interior seating and covers. American rock maple strips are 30 x 12 mm and used for the bottom hull and back ( stern ). The two diffrent timbers are outlined with a 100 years old French oak strip 12 mm x 12 mm . The railing and the front deck are also made out of the 100 year old French oak. The bow of the boat has a 200 mm x 80 mm solid frenchoak support, shaped to suite the sharp design of the boat and helps cutting nicly through the water. Over the whole length of the hull is a support beam made out of solid oak supports the boat. The hull is constructed out of 8 mm - 12 mm solid timber, protected with a 23 gm/sqm fibre cloth and 6 layers of clear resin. The internal hull has 3 layers of 375 gm / sqm fibre cloth and 6 layers of resin. The bilge is made out of plywood, 3 layers of 375 gm/sqm fibrecloth and 6 layers of black resin. All internal timbers are coated in a UV resistant clear marine varnish and each flexible joint has a black flexible sealer. I have used the boat over the past years 5 times and as I finially realised that i don't have the time to use my boat and sadly I have let go of it. Everything shown in the picture is included like the trailer ( registered ), electric wrinch, all life wests, spare parts as shown, outboard 7.5 HP which brings the boat to 10 knots, shade canopy, adjustable fishing rod holder's, bilge pump, starboard and port light in a stainless steel look.
