This is a very rare opportunity to own a vintage Chris Craft Lancer Premiere/ Custom Super Sport of which only 25 were produced. This is Hull Number 3 of the 25 built. One of the features that makes this boat special is the Ford/ Chris Craft 427 300 HP engine that remains original showing 272 hours with a Paragon V-drive. I am only aware of one more of these surviving to date. There may be others out there but likely not many. See attached images of the Hull Card from the Mariners Museum and the advertisement. One thing I noticed is the advertisement has the fuel tank size incorrect, it is actually a 60 gallon tank and is original to the boat. I also have another spec sheet from Chris Craft that shows a 60 gallon fuel tank. Clear Oklahoma Title in my name tagged through 2018 and insured through Hagerty Marine. It was purchased new by Jim Leake Sr. (the founder of Leake Collector Car Auctions) from Port Carlos Marina on Grand Lake in Oklahoma where it has remained since new. In 1991 it was then titled in his son-n-laws name and then to a family friend in 2014. I purchased it in July of 2015. I have not had it on the water but have had it running and it sounds great! Shifts into forward and reverse as it should.See youtube video here of engine running: Over the last few months I have completed the following maintenance and upgrades.Replaced most all engine water hosesReplaced the seawater pick up impeller. An extra will go with the boat as well. Upgraded to Petronix electronic ignition (eliminating pesky points), Flame Thrower coil, cap, rotor, plugs & wires. Carburetor professionally rebuilt.Includes a new cover that has only been used indoors. The mechanical fuel pump is not pumping so I assume it needs replaced. You can either replace it or go the electric fuel pump route which is what I have been thinking about doing. The Amp/ Oil Pressure gauge had been changed out sometime in the past but I have purchased an original gauge that will go with it. Fiberglass was repainted the original color sometime in the last 10 years I believe. Not sure what paint system was used but it looks good from about 10 feet and does have some small blemishes in the paint but is very presentable as you can tell from the pictures. This is a very solid boat with no rot. I believe it has been under cover most all of it's life and has been stored inside since my ownership as well. The center walk through windshield is Lexan I believe and has some light polish type scratches but easily replaced. Also includes a white bimini top and boot. Interior upholstery is in very nice condition as the pictures show. There is a small cut on the port front bucket seat about an inch long and few on the rear bench seat bottom corners that aren't seen unless the seat is out. There is also a tear in the blue vinyl flooring as seen in the photo looking aft. The blue flooring material is still available. Trailer is a 2007 Prestige that was originally built for a Rinker. We modified the trailer and installed new 2"x 6" bunks and it fits like a glove. I don't believe there are more than 1000 miles on the trailer. I installed Buddy Bearings last fall as well as repacked them. Possibly towed 25 miles since then. It pulls great and all lights work as they should. Trailers are not required to be titled in Oklahoma but I can provide the MSO and a bill of sale. Overall this is a very solid vintage Chris Craft that will continue to increase in value considering the very low production numbers. For a little work this would be a very nice investment grade Chris! I am only selling due to my lack of time to use it and other interests that seem to come before boating.I will only accept payment in the form of bank wire transfer, cash or a cashier's check that can be verified by my bank. I am willing to keep the boat in my indoor storage for a short period of time. Longer arrangements can be made if buyer is willing to pay the storage fees. If you have any questions or would like additional pictures please ask. Boat is sold as is and I encourage any inspections. My Feedback is 100% and I want you to be happy with your purchase.
