Wooden Rowing Boat - Selway Fisher "Doracle" As the Selway Fisher site explains, this little boat was “Designed for a client who wanted a simple stackable fishing dinghy which he could easily carry himself” “Tubby” as we named our boat weighs in at exactly 12.5 kilograms, and can easily be picked up with one hand. At 1.8 metres long and 1.12 metres wide, it actually fits inside our station wagon. Of course if we take the kids, the boat has to go on the roof. As you can see from the photos, Tubby - launched this yearc-cis quite seaworthy, and very manoeuvrable. As the designer says, it was intended for use as a fishing boat in quiet sheltered waters. The seat can be easily removed if necessary. The 1.8 metre oars shown were purchased as a decorative item and have been repaired and modified, but have worked satisfactorily for us. They are available for an additional $60.00 if required. Boat is “pickup only” from East Doncaster, Victoria.
