NERIS Alu-1 400 folding kayak - Blue (not orange as shown in main photos) - NEWThe colour blue is the darker blue in the colour sample swatch and of the bottom kayak in the picture of the range of kayaks. Other colour NERIS Alu-1 boats are available to order with a wait list of 3-4 weeks. This listed blue version is ready on hand stock - has not been unpacked, assembled to be photographed. If you require photos, let us know.The price for the kayak only. Excludes accessories such as spraydeck, waist skirt, cockpit cover (to close paddler cockpit hole whilst camping or car topping), rudder steering system, PFD (Bouyancy Aid), paddle, etc. All accessories are obtainable from ourselves.

"NERIS Alu-1" - Classic single seater kayak designed to explore the open waterways (lowland rivers, lakes, reservoirs and seas). It is perfect for a paddle for the day, and up to multi-day trips.Features
The kayak has large storage areas in the under deck sections as well as easily accessible areas within the cockpit, and comes with comfortable one piece inflatable seas with tall backrests. The "NERIS Alu-1" has duralumin frame pieces with brackets made of stainless steel, which significantly improves the kayak's reliability, strength and endurance.
Design
The "NERIS Alu-1" has a simple and reliable design. The boat is easy to assemble, has no short-lived plastic/rubber fasteners in the framework. The frame is made of high quality D16T grade anodized duralumin tubing. This kayak has longer decks and shorter cockpit compared to the same length single seater NERIS Valkure-1. The skin is made entirely of durable PVC which does not absorb water, so after a paddle, simply wipe with a dry cloth and the kayak is ready to be packed. Crew
Number of seats - one adult, or optionally one adult and one small child. The standard spray cover has 1 cockpit hole. There is a 2 cockpit hole spray cover available.
