PRIDE PLAYMATE13FT 7IN / 4.14MSelling my Pride Playmate runabout. I built this boat originally for fishing out in Port Phillip Bay. It does very well in the chop for a little runabout. Never any waves over the top and very stable. Perfect 1st boat with more than enough power. Comfortably accomodates two fisherman with three lines each. It has plenty of storage under the seat, a glove box with cup holders and room for an anchor under the nose. The back section has been custom made to lock in a reserve fuel tank, house the battery box, lock in the main fuel tank and tackle box so things don't go flying around. Fire extinguisher included. Also has a Bimini canopy. The engine is a 75hp Johnson Stinger. Never misses a beat, starts first time, goes unreal, always serviced and ran on valvoline marine two stroke oil and BP Ultimate 98 or United 98 fuel. The gearbox oil was just changed before my last big trip away on the Murray River. Electric tilt is also fitted to the engine and working perfect. This engine was Johnsons flagship race engine back in its day. They were used on the salt lakes in the US on tiny little hydrocrafts and the alike. They have different jetting in the carbies, heavier flywheel for more torque and triple coil packs instead of a single. Overall its there most powerful 3 cylinder. Fuel consumption is very good as the power to weight is excellent. 20lt tank and a reserve 5 lt is plenty for a day on the bay fishing. On the lake towing all day it will use around 30lt depending how long your out.The carpet has been redone a while ago but is still in good nick. It has a Lowerance sounder fitted which shows fish, speed, water temp etc. Also fitted is a marine radio, 12v socket, speedo, led nav lights, anchor light, led interior lighting and cupholders for the driver. Everything works in this boat and the whole setup has taken me some time to get right. You can fish in the bay, or ski, kneeboard, tube in the lakes/rivers. It comfortably pulls two tubes with 80kg + riders and rips kneeboarders out with ease. Below are links of the engine running and pulling out a kneeboarder and some footage taken on my last trip away. The paint isn't perfect but its respectable. The transom is solid as a rock and the floor is also. The trailer is the factory Molco and had a tidy up a few yrs back and is in good condition. Led trailer lights, tilt trailer, brand new wheel bearings fitted and bearing buddies (did before last trip which was 500-600km round trip) Comes with x2 spares also. The boat is super light to tow and easy to store and maneuver single handily. It handles like a go kart and gets on a plane easy. Fitted are some hydrofoils for added handling, quicker planing times and better fuel economy. Its a fun little family boat on inland waters but is more than up for a bay fish. It will not dissapoint where ever you use it. With the 15 pitch prop (fitted) it clocked 54kmph and gets there quick. This is the prop used for water sports. With a 17 pitch it managed 64kmph.
Boats also advertised privately so I reserve the right to end the auction if it sells before the auction ends
