For Sale my 99 Astraea Albatros 5.95 Mtrs Sailing Yacht + Mercury 9Hp Outboard, Sea Toilet and 4 berths. This s a very comfortable family Sailing Yacht made by the Spanish company Astraea, this boat is claimed to be unsinkable (not tested) and sails great, she weighs in at 950kg so easy to tow. There is onboard Fresh water with tank and sink and a place for a gimbal cooker..General condition:-
Bad Points:-We had her out of the water in September for annual inspection and the hull is in great condition but needs cleaning and anti fouling (included in the sale) The fibre glass needs a bit of TLC (polish) to make her look mint again.
The cushions are generally grubby and would benefit from cleaning or recovering.
The echo sounder is not working correctly but a replacement is included.
The laminate floor and small hatch needs replacing, very easy and very cheap.
The Mercury Outboard runs well but not been serviced this year.
There is a switch box which the fuses are a little loose and really need replacing.Good pointsBoth Mainsail and Genoa have been repaired and serviced with new UV strips , cost £900.
Comes with Auto inflate and normal Lifejackets for the whole family.
A brand new Midland VHF Radio is included.
A Raymarine GPS Chartplotter capable of steering the boat to any destination within the Med, comes with Eastern Med Charts.
Comes also with a storm sail.
