Yacht-in-the-Rough GREATLY REDUCED!
Estimated price for orientation: 59 000 $
Category: Other Boats
Class:
Description Condition: Used
This vessel has taken on some water in the engine compartment and is partially submerged due to some electrolysis at the water line. It needs to be flushed out and and welded. The owner made over $300k in upgrades to this vessel, but is selling it a dramatically reduced price to an enterprising buyer who is able to move the vessel from its marine yard in Dickinson, Texas. This a Coast Guard documented 78' steel vessel originally built in the 1970's by Toche Industries. The Caterpillar 3412 engine has less than 10,000 hours on it. The windows and port lights were special ordered from Bohamet, a Polish company that is known for crafting exceptional off shore products (all port lights have dead light covers, the largest are 24" in diameter). The openings in the transom were purposefully cut out to be replaced. The bulkhead inside of the transom is waterproof. There are welded-in stairs on the transom to the swim platform (constructed and located above on the second deck). Ward Marine did the AC/DC wiring. It is completely framed out and ready to finish. Please note, this vessel will need to be pumped out and moved to dry dock to complete repairs on the hull. Serious inquiries only.
