40 ft Steel sailboatBought as a project boat that I never had time to get to as circumstances changedThis boat needs someone who can weld and has a place to work on itIt was originally set up[ as a bluewater cruiser complete with radar and liferaftThe boat is sold as is and where is- I have both sailed and motored it in Pittwater I have included some photos of the rust on the topsides so there is no disillusionment- it is definitely a project boat but with very good bones and in need of attentionThe mast,spars, and standing rigging are in good shape - The mainsail has been shoved below as the cover had deteriorated. The engine runs but is currently in need of some attention to the fuel pump.( probably from fuel sitting in it for the last year) There is a new radio/antenna/battery/electric bilge pump. Stove/Oven has been serviced and works well. The wind generator works beautifully and the battery is always fully chargedThe hull is sound but the decks have a lot of rust at the back on the angles. Easy enough to repair with a welder and a grinderThe boat would be worth several thousand in parts alone. Oversized winches and blocksThere is no head or water tanks.
