I bought this boat a few years ago with a view to completing a full restoration. It is a Glastron V153. The boat itself is in poor condition with some major work required to be sea-worthy. I had it looked at by a boat builder and he put forward that a full transom rebuild is probably necessary. Unfortunately, the rear right corner of the boat was affected by a small fire when in storage. You can see this in the photo 3. The floor and rest of the boat seem to be very solid and probably just require a refinish. The motor is a Chrysler 90HP. I have never started or run the motor, so its working condition is unknown. When I bought the boat the seller showed me that the motor would turn over. There are quite a few spares for the motor including another prop, lower leg (foot) sections. There is also the hydraulic lifter/trim parts which are not attached to the boat and working condition is unknown. The star of the show is the tilt trailer. The boat is very well balanced on it - you can pick the boat up and move it around quite easily. I have had one tyre replaced. The trailer has plates, but I am pretty sure it is out of rego. There is a board with LED brake lights and indicators that sits in the rod holders on the boat. There are many spares and new parts for the trailer including:2 (1 Pack) x Bearing Protectors2 x Label Holders for trailer rego6 x Blue Plastics Rollers10 x Black Rubber Rollers12 x 203mm x 16mm Spindles (to suit rollers)Box of approx 50 Gal washers for Spindles.Box of around 25 Cotter Pins for Spindles.4 x 6" Flat Brackets for Spindles1 x 6" Bracket on standoff for Spindle.6 x Standoff for 'wood yoke' (various lengths)4 x Standoff mounts.1 x Marine bearing kit (Holden type)1 x 7 pin trailer plug with inbuilt LED testerThe classic lines, hull design and pedigree would make this boat an ideal restoration project.Once complete it would make an excellent fresh or saltwater fishing or leisure boat.I am selling the boat due to a lack of storage space and I have too many other projects on the go.I hope to get the exact length of the boat and trailer this weekend, however the boat is approx 5 meters long and the trailer is around 6M.The boat is currently in West Heidelberg and pick up will be required. I am happy to answer any questions, so feel free to ask.
