26 foot Savage Sabre fibreglass half cabin cruiser
Powered by twin 228 Mercruiser fresh water cooled inboard petrol engines based on the 305 cid Chevrolet motor. They are counter rotating. They were new 12 years ago and have done around 90 hours.
Drive is through Borg Warner Velvet Drive gearboxes and shaft drive props. NOT STERN DRIVE!
Everything runs fine.Boat is in sound condition but obviously has been neglected having only been used once a year to see the NYE fireworks hence the @90 hours over 12 years, and hasnt really gone anywhere for 2 years.Therefore it is in need of quite a bit of tidying up and attention which can easily be done by a handy person. I dont have the time, money, inclination or interest any more - my dreams are greater than the time required to fulfil them. If you want to own a moored boat, then you MUST spend a day per week on it to keep it in good condition. Not using a moored boat is the worst thing you can do to a boat.Just an example of what needs to be done - antifoul, new storm cover, cushions and upholstery, new alternator on port motor, replace fresh water pump to sinks and toilet pump, total wash and polish, carpets and headlining cleaned, some guages and lights, sounder, wipers not working, new bathroom door, gunwale rubbers, etc
You can have the dinghy, and the mooring (subject to RMS rules) but the TRAILER IS NOT AVAILABLE.
