I purchased this boat as a project just over a month ago but an unexpected chance to go for something bigger has come up meaning I am putting her up for sale. Below is the original listing which I felt was accurate. I have also included a short video of one of the engines running as they were both winterized shortly after purchase. Both engines run equally well.Cruisers esprit 2970, boat is for sale as a light project due to having spent a number of years on the hard standing open to the elements.hull: electric anchor winch, radar arch and bathing platform, the hull is in great condition having very few imperfections. A days polishing will have her looking her best again.Engines: powered by 2 Mercruiser 5.7 blue water v8 petrol engines with Borg Warner velvet drive gearboxes (shaft drive).Both engines were replaced within the last ten years and were only used for one season then winterized, both engines start and run perfectly and sound very smooth,. these will give the boat a top speed of 30 kntsAccommodation: forward with  an angled double berth, hanging locker and abundant storage below. To starboard is a dinette which converts to a double berth with generous storage below. To port is a good sized galley with fridge, 2 burner hob, microwave oven, double sink and again with plenty storage above and below. Under the helm position there is an additional 2 berth cabin with hanging locker and storage compartments, there is also a good sized toilet/shower just aft of the dinette.some of the soft furnishings and carpets within the cabin area could be doing with being replaced however would be perfectly usable as is although the cabin area will require a good valet prior to use.cockpit: this requires replacement of the seating as most of the wooden bases within the seating have rotted away although we have kept the foam and fabric so that It could be used as templates for the new seating.It should also be noted that there are no covers for the cockpit although all of the stainless steel framework is complete to support new canvass.please bare in mind that this boat is listed as a light project and will require some work to have her looking her best again, all serious buyers are welcome to come and have a look before bidding.
