Here we have one of the all time classic British motor cruisers with accommodation and sea-keeping of much larger vessels. Having been in the same ownership for over 20 years she has been the subject of constant upgrades, including replacing of the original petrol Volvo stern-drives with a single Yamaha 165hp diesel stern-drive, which provides a 22 knot top speed and an economical 18 knots cruising speed. With a large capacity fuel tank, there is a good cruising range and she is a delight to helm at low and higher speeds, due to the combination of power steering and independent trim tabs. Although she has been kept in fresh water for the majority of her life, she has been used for a couple of cruises to France and the Channel Islands and has proved an excellent sea-boat, being both dry and soft riding, even in adverse sea conditions. Recent upgrades include new cabin windows, cockpit cover overhaul including new windows, zips etc, reupholstered helm-seat and cockpit panels, new anti-slip cockpit floor covering, stern-drive service/overhaul and new anti-fouling. Extras include: full cockpit canopy with standing headroom, teak bathing platform with boarding ladder, VHF radio, 240v shore-power, hot and cold pressurized water system, including engine colorifier, plus a cabin stereo system. Accommodation comprises a 'U' shaped settee forward that converts to a large double bed, a self contained aft cabin with double bed and wardrobe, separate toilet/shower room, two-burner stove, S/S kitchen sink and an electric refrigerator.
