This is a 24 foot Savage . ( google them if unsure of Savage brand) It has a cabin with a double V bed at the front and small Kitchenette, and separate enclosed toilet in the galley. I bought this boat last year to go fishing on weekends after arriving back in Australia from work. However, with my work commitments not getting any easier ( as thought ) I have had no time for the boat to the extend after I bought it - I never so much as stepped foot on-board once. It has sat unused since for 12 months. First time on board was three weeks ago to tidy it up and check its condition. The inboard Diesel engine started first turn of the key didn't even wind over - it just fired up! Runs smooth and without any issues what so ever !! This boat will start first time!!Boat has some nice solar panels on roof keeping twin batteries fully charged and power to the radio UHF lighting and other instruments. I did not get any pics of the inside the cabin however will rectify this prior to listing end. I can say the inside cabin is in excellent condition - no rot mold or other nasties ! Carpet lining on the roof inside is excellent!It did have a Seagull problem outside deck ! and the controls are a bit messy however this is easily cleaned if i don't in fact do it myself prior to listing end ( time pending ) . The steering and cables in good order working order. Throttle controls working, forward reverse etc all works.Bilge pumps all in good working order and the bilge is CLEAN from oil and fuels and dirt. This boat has survived all the storms of last year and this year by itself unattended ! without any need for a pump out or help.This boat is ideal for outside off shore fishing or cruising or going away for a weekend. The bad points.After a good year of sitting still - it will need an anti foul !
There appears to be an O ring - ( not confirmed but most likely ) on the leg that needs to be fitted as when the boat is put into reverse the leg will lift up. ( no problems in forward all working well ) You will need to pay morning fees or relocate it to your own morning/marina or trailer it to a backyard IF you have a appropriate trailer. It will need a general clean up but nothing ridiculous - just a wash. I have priced this boat well below what the market value !!! As i am again leaving back to work overseas this will be sold cheap and as is where is. Ill try to answer any questions to the best of my ability.
